I have 2 Access applications that were built in Access 97 with Win98 OS. We just upgraded to Office 2000 and Win2000. I converted both my apps and both of them are throwing out intermittent error messages, "run out of memory" warnings and sometimes they just lock up. The network supervisor said I need to rebuild both apps from scratch. (I don't know how. I'm new at this.)I found no references in the MS Knowledge Base re: these messages. These apps run fine on my home system in Access2000/WinXP.

Has anyone else had similar difficulties upgrading? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

Try checking Access versions:

eg: 9.0.0.6620

(emphasis on last 4 digits)

If it's less than the above, try running the Office Service Packs. This cured a few bugs for databases I converted.
