We recently converted our office version from 97 to XP. we still have our old operating systems (NT, 98, 2000 - varying).
I am having a problem with one of our databases where we have had to repair it 3 or 4 times a day. Occasionally we would run into this problem before we converted, but now it happens constantly. Also, the importing of spreadsheets is not working - I do it thru code, not a macro, and have tried all the options within the docmd that I could and still the import only pulls some of the records - this has worked flawlessly up until now.
Any ideas or suggestion??

RoseV,
Same thing happened to me. Converted Access97 on NT 4.0 to Access XP on WinXP. Database crashed and burned constantly, but worked fine for a while after each repair.

I hosed and hosed with it, then finally got disgusted and created a brand new database and imported everything (tables, queries, modules, forms, everything) into the new database from the broken one (not the '97 one, but the XP one), and everything started working fine. Heaven knows why... anyway, that worked for me.

It seems to be working fine now - those first couple of days were ridiculous, tho! Like you said, it sems to work itself out, so I guess I'm done here.
Thanks!
