Hi All,

I've created a Access 97 db and converted it to Access 2000. After the conversion functions like space$ and left don't seem to work anymore. Both do appear in the help file of both versions and with the same syntax......

Anyone got a clue how to solve this problem ???

Grtz,

Kalin

Do you get an error? If not, you may try compiling andor even adjusting the priority of the references

Hi,

the error I'm getting is:
(translated from dutch so it might be slightly off)

Compile error:

Can't find project/library

Grtz,

Kalin

Sounds like you're missing a reference to a dll library....if you go to the VB editor, then go to the Tools menu, select References, in the Available references window, you should see the one that's missing (it will say "MISSING - " and the library name

Seems to have been the problem.....

Many thanx.....

Grtz,

Kalin
