Hello,
We installed the 64 bit version of Windows Server 2003 and discovered that our printers and software will not run. So we have to switch to the 32 bit version. Unfortunately, all of the users have been set up and I'd really hate to have to re-enter all that information and take all the Windows XP workstations off of the domain and then put them all back on again to re-establish the trust relationship.

Does anybody know if I can install the 32 bit version over the 64 bit version and retain all of the user information and trust relationships with the workstations? Or do I have to bite the bullet and redo the whole network?

Thanks.

I'm almost certain that you need to re-install the OS. However, I would think that you would be able to do a full system backup and restore it all to the 32bit OS.

Do you perhaps have a box that to test this theory? If so, and you do, I think we'd all like to know the results!
