how does converse work in a brief reply please. I have G3R Ver 11.0

You mean "convers-on" vector step? It is used to route calls to your IVR box where your IVR applications are deployed.

You will basically connect your IVR to the Avaya by means of an E1 link. In your Skill group and on your agent login you will create you will use AAS. Each channel of the E1 link becomes a virtual agent to the IVR ( type DS1FD). You will then queue calls to the virtual agent group which will use the E1 channels to the IVR. In order for the Avaya to recognize a call that is returned from the IVR you will pre populate the call on the IVR with the converse return code as specified in the display features table.
Works extremely well.
