when you go to LOG on a 2420 and look at say the inbound.. it only inserts a 9.. it doesnt do the 1 for long distance..

so you cant just dial it back.

how do you control what gets added? thanks

I'm not sure if things are different when you're using a US locale as I think you are. I'm not sure of how things appear in the US so bear with me....

Firstly, when a call comes in what is displayed on the screen? Does it show eg 13107654321 or just 3107654321?

In Lines, the Prefix is what is added to the CLI. So if the CLI is 13107654321 then the call Log should show 913107654321. But if the CLI is just 3107654321 then the Log will show 93107654321.

Also, in Lines check the National and International Prefixes. National should be 1 and International should be 011 (I think for US). In the ISDN setup message says whether it's National, International or possibly Unknown. The values you have in these fields will add the 1 or 011 to the Calling Party Number field and display it all on the screen.

Hope this helps.
