Hi all,

What MS Access Control (or whatever) determines where a field is located on a form? I want to be able to move fields around on a form based upon a users response to a question.

I tried 'Top' and 'Left', but those didn't seem to work. No matter what value I assigned them they always appeared in the top left corner of the form. Unless I assigned the values incorrectly...

Thanks,
MitchJP

the top and left are what controls their location. Set it in twips. 1440 twips = 1 inch

me.text1.top= 1440
me.text1.left = 1440

will set it 1 inch down and 1 inch over

me.text1.top= 0
me.text1.left = 0
Sets it it very top of the section the control is located in

Ahh, I see. I was using inches, so that must have been the reason why it was so high and left... I'll give it a try, thanks!!
