Hi guys i have a report that has firstname lastname major gender

sam peters business male
maria ray science female
jhon feeds comp.science male
dale bunn undecided male
........ .... ..
The list of records is long but when I do the report by grouping the major's category the business does not group all students but separates them with the title the other categories work fine. The query sorted the major's field.
I'm also trying to do the totals on the report for each category but don't know how.
I'll appreciate your help.

Please explain what you meant when you said, "the business does not group all students but separates them with the title." What is the title? Where does it fit into the table and query structures?

Please post your query or queries. Terry

Hi I will xplain better
the report groups the students by major under one major title all work fine except business that instead of putting all students under the Business title column it creates three columns with the "Business" major title.I hope this is better now. Thanks
