Contract Administration

We are looking for contract administration software to use with MIMs 4.3. We aren't very happy with the current functionality of the MIMs contract module. Are there other options for contract management available?

Dear Decoder:

At PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara we have an interface designed by PTMI (PT Mincom Indoservices) that we use for contracts. It works with MIMS hierarchy for Contract Approval Routing and the MIMS Contract module.

Basically, it allows the user to enter contract request details such as scope of work, reimburseables, etc. Then this is routed through the MIMS hierarchy for approvals. Once our contracts department receives the approved contract request, they process it using the regular MIMS Contract Modules. If you want more info you can contact me via email:

The next release of Ellipse is planned to enhance the contracts admin module.
The addition of features including sophisticated
valuation facilities and management of variations in
the form of adjustments and extensions of time will
make the Advanced Contracts Administration
module a superior tool for management of contracts.
Integrated quality assurance features along with
facilities for pre-payments, additional completion
payments, retentions and liquidated damages provide
for controlled management of negotiated contracts.
Contracts Administration will improve both visibility
of contract structures and general useability.
