I recently built a new CPS. So far it is working great, but it leads me to ask some questions about backups.

I have a BackupExec server with an LTO2 drive attached, then I have the CPS with 800GB of storage for backups. I need to maintain some offsite backups. Should I backup the CPS or just backup the actual data? I don't necessarily need all of the previous versions stored offsite. If I backup a server that CPS shadows, will it affect CPS? For example, will resetting the archive bits cause CPS to replicate all of the files backed up?

I know this is a bit vague, but I haven't found any info on their site or in the docs about this.
