The only way I can think of would be to base the continuous form on a query then set the condition in the query,
the fields will still show but will show as blank.
B/dead is on track - on a continuous form, what you do to one field on one row, you do to all the rows for that field.
So you probably WONT be able to make the field invisible - but with conditional formatting, you can make the text the same color as the background, which as least works for the CONTENTS of the field.
It all depends on whether or not your condition for hiding the field is amenable to a conditional formatting logic evaluation.
