I have a form which pulls data from a single table. The user would like to have an add mode where it's not necessary to click the mouse between adds. In other words, after hitting <Enter> from the last field, the cursor should go to the top field in a new record. I expect what's needed is a routine in the 'On enter' property of the last field. Does the 'next record' command work when adding new records? The code I've tried so far has only given me compile errors.

Thanks for your help

That the default way Access works anyhow did you try it? DougP, MCP

Hi:
In your form's property sheet, look at the "Other" tab: the value of "Cycle" should be set to "All Records". Gus Brunston [glasses] An old PICKer, using Access2000.

DougP,
It seems I've left out a valuable piece of info. The last field is a memo field, so the Enter key does not exit the field. However, the Tab key does do this, so maybe the user will be fine with that. I expect it was made memo instead of text because it was imported from an old Foxpro app.
I hadn't worked with this particular database in several months, so I'm just at the point of re-acquainting myself with it. I'm also in the middle of some tutorials on Access, so in the future I hope to pose much tougher questions.
Thanks for your help.
