I don't seem to be able to get contextless login to work with new users anymore. Nothing has really been changed on the network apart from a couple of containers being renamed. Now, everytime we add a new user into NDS, contextless login doesn't work for them. However it still works for the original users.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the original Novell system or the newer lgncx dll written by a cool solution developer? Novell does not really support there version any more. If you are still using the Novell version you must have the catalog dredger running, and it must be updating to get the changes or adds that you have made. The dredger is problematic though and that is why Novell stopped using it.

You should lgncx. It adds two dll's to the system directory on the workstation and makes contextless work very well. We use it on 98 and 2000 and XP.

I highly recommend it.

Jon,
I'll certainly look into that.

Cheers
