I have an exchange server that hosts all my user mailboxes.

recently I had a DB crash.

My question is where does outlook store the private contact list (not the company wide address book).

Each user had created another contact list to hold his/her personal contacts, as I understood it should be on their local computer, however I have no idea where to look for it.

most of my users user outlook 2003 some on XP.

If Outlook was set up to keep personal addresses stored locally, you should find them in a *.pst file.
