The customer supplied us with a windows 2003 server that they clain the mirrored drives cannot be partitioned. I'm not a server expert so I am going with what they said. Furthermore, they are too cheap to buy a new PC to run just contact store on. I agree it is an unusual request and not a way I generally like to do things, but this is what the customer has asked for.

I've done this once because a customer did not want to spend the extra dollars to do it the right way. I have had no problems with it however. Just make sure you edit the PC's BIOS to not look to the USB Drive to boot from.
