Constant ringing problem

Having a intermittent problem with 3904 series phones that start ringing and only way it can be stopped is to unplug phone. Picking up handset does nothing and nothing is in display. It did it on rel 5.5 and now does it on rel 6.0. Latest deplist and firmware. System is Cs1000e rel 6.0 with CPPM processors. Any help will be appreciated.

I would first check your power and earth connections on your switch, could also be the outlet back to your distribution frame and you can also try a firmware download in software to that

is this juat one station? are is it system wide?

System wide, multiple stations do this, just not very often. Everything is properly grounded. Trying to get a trac on one while it's doing it but customer usually unplugs phone before I can get one.

Can you pin point it down to a Dgtl Line card issue ?
