I am having a problem with our consoles. They are alarming. Its a very loud siren like alarm that is painful to the ear... There do not seem to be any issues with the power or the ability to get calls. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try doing a "lis usa extensi xxxx" xxxx being the did number for the console.

change the system parameters features and change the settings as follows: -

FEATURE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS
Reserved Slots for Attendant Priority Queue: 2
Time before Off-hook Alert: 3000
Emergency Access Redirection Extension:
Number of Emergency Calls Allowed in Attendant Queue:0

This will stop the alarms!!!

This is a crises alert. Press the button on each console and it should stop the alarm. I think if you press the button a second time it clears the emergency info off the display as well.
