Consecutive Numbering 1

we have a per printed form
2 up on 8.5 x 11 around 1000 copies
is there a way to print Consecutive Numbers
on these forms

any help would be great Greg

I'm assuming you're printing a report that based on a form. You can use a page counter to print the number. See help for the syntax.

no its not a report based on a form that would be nice

its an 8 1/2 x 11 paper that has 2 forms on the paper
its been printed by a offset printer

just need to print consecutive numbers . first sheet
would have for ex 1,2 the next page 3,4 and so on

could this be poss

May I suggest creating a data source in Excel with the numbers and do a mail merge in Word using a custom label setup of 2 per page each equal to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.

Or just forget Word/Mail Merge ...

Just set up a report for labels (with the # in the appropiate loc) and print the label ...

Of course you need to base the labels on some recordset but you do not need to use any of the fields from the recordset (but you do need to reference a field).
