Connexion SQL with VFP ?

Hi,
How can I connect to SQL server with VFP 6.0 except from ODBC?(Please step by step I'm still programm with SQL server)

So what's the problem with ODBC? I've used it quite a bit and not had problems. I admit they keep changing the terminology to the point I have no idea most of the time what uses what and what means what. DAO, ADO, ODBC, SQL- passthrough, etc., etc. So what are you trying to do exactly and why?

The only other way to connect to SQL server is use ADO controls and then use the OLEDB provider.

This is not as easy or as fast compared to using the SQL-passthrough. (thats what i think)
