Connection Error

I'm developing a c++ builder application that transfers information between 2 informix databases that are in different servers. After a few functions that already transfers some information,I keep receiving the -1811 error message (Implicit connection not allowed after an explicit connection. ) from informix when I try to read a record from a table.
Anyone knows why this happen at this point??
