I tried posting this in the zone alarm forum but didn't get any responses, i thought I would ask the question here:
I've noticed more and more that after a period of inactivity my connection to the internet drops and I have a hard time reconnecting. At first I thought it could be comcast and it's cable modem, I rebooted the cable modem and my netgear router, the problem persists. Eventually I shutdown zone alarm and I had instant connectivity. I haven't been able to find anything that describes a solution to this problem, I have noticed a lot of people seem to have similar issues. I am running the free version 6.0.667.000. My system is a dimension 4700, xp pro, 512 mg ram. No viruses or spyware to be found.
