I have question that I need some clarification on. We are trying to connect a second Witness server to our OPT81c rls 25.4. I have attached a tnb print out of one of the phones (2616). We are able to record calls just fine on the sets setup for Monitoring. We are failing on the Playback sets(listed below). When we pull the witness logs, it shows the phone as LOGGED OUT on the new server when we initiate the Callback. On the current server that is working, the logs show the SPV phone is LOGGED IN when you initiate the Callback. is there a way or is there something that i have to do on the PBX side to logg the phone in? they are built as 2616 but it is not a physical phone. It is set up as a phantom so to speak. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes it is. I matched the setup of the phones to match the current phone setup.

the only way to log that phone in from the pbx side would be to plug a phone in.. not from the term, no autolog options.. either your server logs in or it stays logged out..

i would plug into the port, log in then connect it back to the server to see if that works.. your server would need a new id to log in with IF it's doing the log..

off hook, in calls key, 4 digits, incalls key.. the 4 digits have to be unique and match your ld 23 scb entry

I will give that a try. I did not remember having to do anything special when we put the first server in 5 years ago.
Thanks John

We had Witness at my last job and we didn't have to do anything special to log those in either, let me find out from someone what we did, its been too long to remember.
