Hello,
Does anyone know for sure if Cisco WIC-1T high-speed card installing in Router-2620 can connect directly to a Serial Asyc Port (low speed) S2 or S3 of Router-2520 using DTE/DCE 60-pin cable safely? Cisco shows that this WIC-1T will not support Asyn max speed. Does this mean they can't be connecting to each other? Has anyone tried this without any hardware damaging problem, please advice.

Thanks in advance!

If you are trying to build a frame relay switch, I would just go to Ebay---I got my 2503 for $25. I have no idea what you are actually doing, but I did think the same thing, but did not research it too much---just decided that it cannot be done. Just a thought.

Yes. I am building a frame Relay switch and it calls for a direct connection between 2 serial ports of 2 devices. The old router 2520 that acts as a frame-relay switch has 2 high-speed and 2 low-speed ports. Only the low-speed ports are my concerns.
