Hi all,
I have a good and easy question: how can I connect two PABX by DS1 ? My Swithes are near (1 ft). Can I connect directly a DS1 to another one ?

Is it clear question ?

Thanks a lot.

Claudio.

I would say yes. As long as you pin your connection out correctly, this should work just fine.

Great !!!

Please mega, dou you have a example of tie trunk config page ?

There is any special configuration ?

Thanks again.

Cláudio

Hey man, thanks a lot.

I need do a test.
I will post results here.

I have done the same kind of thing, but the PBX's connected were about 100 yards apart. Pinned out as a T1 crossover and set my trunk groups up accordingly. Had to use PRI boards with integrated CSU's for what I was trying to accomplish.

We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.

Please,
One of my switches dont have ISDN feature. I want connect by Tie configuration.

My configuration is like that showed by SRMEGA41, but when I do a teste, I receive...

01A0601 TIE-DS1 50/01 136 FAIL
01A0601 TIE-DS1 50/01 36 PASS

In the other switch...
01C0501 TIE-DS1 50/01 136 PASS
01C0501 TIE-DS1 50/01 36 ABORT 1006

What happen ?

Special configuration in DS1 circuit pack ?

Claudio.

OK.

Do you have data modules set up?

What happens if you do a "status link X" where X is the link number?

If you do a "status trunk x" where x is the trunk group, what does that say?

We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.

Hey man, Im late, but ...
Dont have links to do this test, but, when I do status trunk, I get ...

"50/01 01A0601 in-service/idle no".

But, when I do a teste trunk or teste board, I get ...

"01A0601 TIE-DS1 50/01 136 ABORT 1005"
"01A0601 TIE-DS1 50/01 36 PASS"

How can I remove clock reference ?

Thanks !!!

Claudio.
