Hi,

I recently acquired a DECStation 3100 3000/300L (Alpha), running VMS 6.1...I'd like to connect to my home network consisting of mixed (UNIX/Linux/OSX/MS Win) machines.

I've been away from VMS since the early nineties and wondered if anyone here could give me an example of what I should include in a "UCX$CONFIG.COM" file. I need to assign a static IP Address to the NIC.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Mike

You will get better response to your question if you post it in the USENET newsgroup comp.os.vms

Hi Ken,

Thanks, I'll do that...

Since posting I've been able to search out a few things and have set the hostname and IP address, as well as the domain. I am still figuring out setting the gateway.
