Hi!

I've finally managed to set up an Exchange Server and it works fine. Now I want to connect to that server via the internet. I'm using a dialin connection on the comuter I want to connect to the server and I have registered a dyndns account for the server. I set up Microsoft Outlook and entered the internet adress of the server and checked the user name. That worked all fine. But after the username was checked the adress of the server alway sitches to the local server name (Ntserver1) what can I do that outlook keeps the internet adress instead of the local server adress?

You can put an entry in your hosts file for the server name.

If you're running NT/2000, it's in C:\winnt\system32\drivers\etcIf you're running Win9X, it's in c:\windows
Just add a line to the bottom with the name of the server as outlook shows it, at least one space, and then the IP address.
