Connecting to a Windows share

Is there an easy way to connect to a windows share from Solaris 8 and 9? Or will I need to create an NFS share on the windows box to do it? I'm upgrading a client's server and need to get the data from their database out then in to the new server.

For seeing and connecting "to" a solaris share.
I use Samba here in the office. Can it be used in the reverse then? I need to connect "TO" a windows share "from" Solaris.

Samba is software that can be run on a platform other than Microsoft Windows, for example, UNIX, Linux, IBM System 390, OpenVMS, and other operating systems. Samba uses the TCP/IP protocol that is installed on the host server. When correctly configured, it allows that host to interact with a Microsoft Windows client or server as if it is a Windows file and print server.
