Connecting IDF to MDF

If you are talking POTS you should have no problem with that distance. And you don't need cat5.

All my sites mith IDF to MDF's have cat5 or 6 tied to patch panels. All jacks are labeled, and patch panel has label as well identifying it as IDF # x - location

But if you are specifically slating this cable for telephone vs data, a few 25 or 50 pr. Cat 3 feeder cables tied to patch panels at either end would work.
