Hi, this is my first post to the forum, i'm requesting your assistance in order to solve a problem i have been presenting on this Avaya central.
My main need is that i need to supply some of my offices, in different regions, with some IP based phones, however, i'm not certain on how must i configure them or how much do i have to configure in the central to allow their connection.

The network scheme i have now, allows my central to be parallel to my FW, but when i give the ip phone that public ip, it keeps looking for it, and finally it doesn't connect.

I really need a way to solve this, since we need to suppply this phones to the remote offices.

Thanks a lot for your assistance

Thanks a lot, i will give this info to my VoIP admin and let's hope for the best

I actually took one of our 9608 phones to my house to test with. Cleared out all IP config in the phone and entered the public IP we have on LAN2 as the call server and it connected but no audio on calls. Looked at the docs and opened the required ports on my firewall and the phone was fully functional although it broke my SIP trunk at my house... LOL!!
