Hi All,

I am fairly new to Phone systems and have been doing a little research into trying to connect an iPECS-100 to an iPECS-50B and as far as I can read I need to do something with SIP and trunking.

Being new I have no idea what this means so I was hoping someone on here would be able to point me in the write place to be able to do this.

The 2 systems are on differant subnets which are connect via a WAN. the WAN is running great and I am able to ping and access the web interface on both systems from either location.

Thanks,

Matthew

I wrote this thread how to interconnect two ipLDK's (or iPECS).
Please check: thread1613-1484626

This requires a license for ip networking in both systems.
IT is not SIP but H.323.

You do not need th LDK-300 VOIB or VOIBE hardware, but may need a VOIM(E) board.

Double checked it:

This requires a license for ip networking in both systems.
Also a VOIM module for the media stream is needed.
So both Hardware and licenses!

Thanks Doktor,

This seems like its going to be a little harder then I thought it was going to be. I assume these modules are installed as the people had set it up said that they were ready to connect to each other once the WAN was setup.

I will have a look and see what I can do. Atleast I have H.323 to search for now.

Thanks again

Matthew
