connect to...doesn't function anymore???

I have windows xp pro, and I was monkeying around with tweak UI to get rid of the bubble tips that pop up. I managed to get rid of them, but I had lost my "connect to" menu entry in the start menu. I found the setting that I had flipped and got the entry back, but know it doesn't behave the way it used to. Now, you have to click on the entry and it opens up a folder bringing me to all the dial up connections that I need. Before, a menu would unfold from the "Connect to" entry and allow me to choose which connection I wanted to start.


Any Ideas? I know it is something simple in tweak ui, that is the worst part....
