1.make sure the database exists
2.draw the data control object on the form
3.open the properties window and select the database i want 4. double click on database name property
5.select the file i want
6.i then go to recordsettype select which ever type as it messes up with all of them
7.go to record source i get a error window with the statement unrecognised database format
any ideas on whats happening
the database is stored as Z:\MYDATABASE.25.02.05.mdb

Perhaps you are not using the appropriate database driver to connect to the database. Just a thought...
