I have sever 2000 on a box (172.16.1.22)and I am trying to coonect to a sysbase 12 DB on a different server 172.16.1.3 to extract the data.
Does anyone have any input on a simple way to do this?
Thanks in advance.

Install the Sybase 12 drivers on the SQL Server, setup a linked server to the Sybase server and access the data you need accross the linked server. Check out linked servers in BOL.
