Greeting all. I just have a few questions about the different Crystal Products and I am looking for some help explaining them. I need to send out appox 50 reports on a weekly basis through email, with about 10 of those reports being saved as an html file on a daily basis. I am currently looking at some freeware programs that might help me do that, but I wanted some clairification on the Crystal Software.

I have Crystal Reports 10 Advanced Dev Edition, Enterprise 10 Embedded Edition, and Enterprise 10 Professional "30 day evaluation."

Now as I understand it the Embedded Edition can only distribute reports and does not have a scheduler built in. According to Business Objects, I would either have to create my own scheduler (no idea how) or use the scheduler included with Enterprise Pro. Problem is, according to Business Objects, I would only be able to email reports up to five dresses and then to pay a per user fee for each address that comes after. Can you see my problem?

Do I have that explaination right? If so then I think my best option is to jsut use one of the freeware products or one of the other scheduler products that charge a fee.

I have not seen or heard of this restriction in CE 10 professional, UNLESS you only have/ plan on having only 5 named licenses. Is that what you are planning on?

CE Pro is expensive, if cost is a major issue, Ken's suggestion is great, however do note that other CE license options offer greater flexibility for email, etc.

Sorry, just realized I wrote 'ken's suggestion' rather than synapsevampires!
