Configuring Exchange 2003 Windows Firewall

Hi

I've downloaded SP1 for exchange 2003. I now want to configure the windows firewall. My clients use OWA to access their email.

Im not sure which ports need to be open and when services to enable (eg. file sharing, remote desktop, Upnp framework, etc.)


Please advise on how to configure the firewall.

File sharing - you don't want.
Remote desktop - don't.
uPnP - don't.

OWA uses HTTP port 80. You'll also need SMTP (port 25) if you want inbound SMTP email.
