I'm trying to put a short guide down to explain the steps required to get Avaya CM to write CDR data to disk and also setup sftp to get the data off.

I know I need to configure the system-parameters cdr page to write to disk, my question is what do I put in the "Primary Output Endpoint" if I am not intending to send the CDR over the network? All the examples I have seen have "CDR1" where CDR1 is setup in the ip-services page.

Also any guidelines on how to configure SFTP would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

neither. You build a CDR User. He sftp`s into CM, and the folder he hits has the CDR. grab files, then delete them off and do what you like.

The appendices for install or admin of the utility server (can`t remember which) has the steps to set the Utility Server up to get CDR which uses the sftp/write to disk mechanism
