I recently purchased a new CPU to Setup a Windows 2000 Server for my home. After installing and re-booting the server, I'm getting the following "W32time" error:

Configure to sync from External Time Source using the net command, 'net time / setsntp:<servername>'

I'm currently not connected to the internet. Although, I plan on using dialup to my ISP (through my server) once the home network is working correctly. What external source is the system looking for? How can I prevent to look for an external source?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

set it to sync off itself if internet is not available.

Ok Hello Future tech 204 ,
Would you care to explain how to do that for those of us less experienced

Thank you TechGuy22.

That resolved my problem.

Once again, thanks
