Has anybody done this, because I dont have the SystemSetting\EventLogInterval path.

Product: eTrust InoculateIT, eTrust Antivirus
Version: 6.0
OS: WIN/NT, Win2000, WinXP

Q: I have configured the alert policy to forward alerts to the alert server, but it only notifies me approximately 5 minutes after the event occurred. How can I speed this up?

A: This can't be done instantaneously, but it can be sped up considerably.
Add a DWORD value to the registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\InoculateIT\6.0\SystemSetting\EventLogInterval

and set it to the number of seconds you want the frequency of forwarding to be.

Below 30 seconds the frequency will not be exact
the lowest you can effectively go is approximately 10 seconds

Thanks in advance.
