Configure outlook for many users on 1 computer

Hi everyone,

Simple question is there a way to configure Outlook only one time so it will be able to reconfigure itself with the username typed at login?

something like :

Exchange Server: Exchange1
User name : %username%

copy this in the default profile so every new user that log on this machine have his/her outlook configured !

But this procedure doesn't work ! Is there another way ?

Since different email accounts require different "profile" you cannot just create one "changine master profile" and be done with.

Your only option is to have them access OWA.

if you go into outlook, tools, options, mail services and select 'Prompt for Profile' you can create all the profiles on the pc and when they open outlook they select their name from the drop down menu.
Or if you are running exchange and accessing an nt server why not go to roaming profiles, this will save the setting for email access and when mr a signs on he gets mr a's email, when mr b signs on he gets mr b's.

Thats what we do where i work and is best solution if more than one person is using the same pc but wants different desktop/ email setiing etc.
