Configure cron to send email

I have setup cron to run webalizer.And I need help in setting the cron job so that it can send email of its output.

Hi,

Paste here your webalizer cron job. Usually if you omit redirection, it will send an email to owner of cron job.

the crontab entry looks like this, if your script writes to standardout/standarderror:
0 * * * * echo `hostname` `date` is alive | mailx -s alive reciptient@domain.com
