I currently have a DSL connection at home. My DSL provider is SWBell and my ISP is prodigy. Whenever I need to connect to the Internet, I have to initiate a Prodigy connection, then log in. Recently, my company gave me a cisco 3002 router so that I can establish VPN connection back to the office. I tried to configure it as DHCP but it was unable to find the server and get an IP address. I tried to specify the IP address and gateway and it did not work. Someone was saying that since I have to authenticate with Prodigy first, the cisco 3002 may not handle it. Does anyone encounter such situation? If so, what is the solution for this problem? If I cannot use the 3002, what can be used instead? Please help me out. Thanks in advance.
