Hi All! I'm not very familiar with the 800 series routers and I need to make a couple of configuration changes. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a lot of information on this. This is what I need to do:
1.) Currently the ISP is sending all canonical names to the router. Rather than having to program the router whenever a new canonical name is added, it would be preferred to have these requests sent to the internal DNS server. How would I go about doing that?
2.) I also need to open a specific port on the router for a specialized application. Can this be done with a typical extended access list entry?
Any assistance anyone can give me about this would be much appreciated- thank you...
