Configuration Backup

We are running Procurve across 60% of our network with a mixture making up the other 40%. Currently the only tool I can find to consistantly and reliabley backup/restore the configs is Procurve Manager (Horrible Software). I use ZipTie for all of the other equipment but so far they do not have an adapter for procurve. Does anyone use another solution or know of a script I could use as a template?

Maybe you can try Procom Plus, but this is not freeware...

You can use 3cdaemon to backup your conf of HP Switch.
Install 3cdaemon and use telnet on your procurve Example commands:

Copy tftp startup-config 149.1.101.63 <filename:running-config.txt>

or like this...copying/backing up the flash rom:

Copy tftp flash 149.1.101.63 <filename.swi>
