Config Wizard for MCD 4.0 / Nupoint 4.0

The config Wizard is no longer provided on the 3300 software disks.

The last version I could find was provided with release 9 (before the split into 2 disks)

The docs for installing Nupoint make no mention of the config wizard (it was required with the last one I did that was part of Application suite)

I'm moving on and manually configuring, but does anyone know the status of the Config Wizard?

Is it obsolete?

Is it still available but hidden from view?

Just a matter of note for anyone who cares.

It would seem the Nupoint is no longer as picky about how you connect. At least on a standalone box.

Just type the ip address and it automatically takes you to the server manager and away you go.

No DNS or FQDN required.

On the MCD 4.0 SP2 software download it is one of the download options called MiCW 2.2.0.12.

P.S. Without the config wizard, start to finish less than 2 hours complete with showing someone else how to do it at the same time. Makes me wonder why I even bothered looking for it.

Hi

I have had problems with the new config wizard. Configured a CX with latest MCD 4 release I only used it for basic set up, user config and voice mail. The wizard configured 20 voice mail ports and as far as I am aware the new CX can only accommodate 16 voice mail ports.

As a result I still have a minor that I can’t clear. The alarm reporting 20% loss of voice mail ports even with all 20 ports in the voice mail hunt group.

Can anyone confirm what the max number of voice mail ports is in the new CX?

The CX maxes out at 16 Ports.

I never use the Config Wizard to configure the 3300.
