Hi all
I've been given a 1721 router to be configured for a wireless connection, with the following info :

Wan 192.168.0.2/28
Lan 192.168.168.128/27 (Network ID)
Default gateway : 192.168.0.1

can you please help me with this configuration? knowing that the router has a fastethernet and an ethernet interface , and i don't know wich one should be configured for a lan , or a wan.

Plzzz I need urgent help.

It probably doesn't matter which interface is used for the WAN connection, but I would probably use the 10 Mb.

If you think about it though, the router will only be processing packets that are traversing from the inside to the outside (or vice versa) so the bottleneck will be the 10 Mb no matter which way you assign the interfaces (and the bottleneck is most likely to be with your ISP anyway).

HTH,
Michael.
