I have an incoming call route of the main number going to a hunt group for the receptionist. The call comes in via the PRI. A call comes in and the receptionist conferences the caller to an outside line the the bosses cell phone. When a second call comes in, the calling party gets a busy signal. Whenever a conference call is in progress she can only get 1 call. Every other type of call works fine and she can get as many calls as he has appearences. Any ideas?

what release software on what hardware?

ACA:Implement - IP Office
ACS:Implement - IP Office

how many call appearance buttons?
does the huntgroup have call waiting active?

If you can't be good, be good at it!

As a test it might be worth creating an extension that is forwarded to the boss's cell phone and transfer the call to that extension.

You could make a shortcode like this:

666
conference meet me
line id 0

Then transfer the call to 666
Every new call can be transfered to this conference

Way more easy to manage the conference

ACA - Implement IP Office
ACS - Implement IP Office
ACA - Voice Services Management

more call appearances and or conference meet me.

also there is a user setting 'reserve last call appearance' that will always keep the last appearance open for transfers(and block incomming if it is the only available appearance).

Somebody had deselected the call waiting for the hunt group. The conference meet me wouldn't have worked. I tried it but they couldn't deal with remembering the conference ID.

Thanks for all your input, I'm sure I will be call on all of you again.

Take Care,
Dan
