Hi,
I am trying to build an expression (Conditional format) for....
If "Period" = 1 week and "TodaysDate" - "RentalDate" > 7 then the "ReturnDate" field must be say red.

So if the field called 'Period' contains 1 week and today's date minus field 'RentalDate' is greater than 7 then the 'ReturnDate' field must have a red background.

Does that make sense?

Ken

Hello Ken,
Please see my response in this thread: thread702-475361
Use the latter solution on the ReturnDate field. Since you have posted pseudo code, it will be difficult to give you the exact syntax to use in the expression box. I am not sure what to do with:
"Period" = 1 week"
, but the second part will translate to:
Code:
And DateDiff("d", Now, [RentalDate]) > 7
Note: when you enter the expression into the expression box, do not include the
Code:
If Then
keywords. I hope that this was somewhat understandable. :) Robert

Hi Robert,
Period is a field name, and there are only two options for this field 1 week or 2 weeks.
