I'm displaying data in a cross tab and I need two different date formats. One MMM dd and the other dd. I have tried using a formula with previous and that didn't work and I tried to use the format conditional buttons on the date format dialog screen. It needs to look like the following.

Only on month changes do I want the MMM dd format.

Thanks for any insight given.

Consider doing a manual crosstab. With the fixed number of columns, this is definitely doable. Then you will have more control on the displaying the data. Look into faq149-1219 and faq149-1639.
