Does anyone know have to perform a conditional count.

I have a PO number in a repeating group and want to keep a running count of a sales figure (which is also in the repeating group) only when the fields value is greater than £100.

I can then summarise the total number of PO's with a sales value is greater than 100.

Sounds simply and it probably is but it seems I cannot see the wood for the trees on this one!

This is called a running total field. Asumming you are in version 7 or newer of crystal: insert, field object, running total field, make it a count field, evalute on a formula, the formula is as you said anything G.T. 100 pounds, reset on change of group PO number.

Also, you said you wanted a running count but do you mean a running total? If you want a count it would be 1, 2, 3, etc. whereas a total would give you total dollars, um, I meant pounds.

If you want the running total change the RT field to a total instead of a count, everything else in the same. Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
