I have a large application with many reports written manually with "?" (not report form). I have recently converted from fox 2.0 dos to fox 2.6a windows. The reports are directed to a file and I pass a field saying whether to print regular or condensed. In dos, I did not have that many options, but in windows, I have to set the font.
I have to use a mono-spaced font for all my reports.
The font I use is "courier new",11 for regular print and "courier new",7 for condensed print. The regular print looks great, however the condensed print is so small, it can hardly be read. It also only fills half a page. If I set the pitch to "8", I cannot get 120 characters across the page.
Does anyone know of a mono-spaced font I could purchase that can print 66 lines on a page, 120 columns? (The old default DOS font for all printers did this). FOXPRINT looks just like COURIER NEW. Is there a way I can get to the old font used by DOS?
I realize I could rewrite all the reports into Report Forms, but since there are over 500 reports, this would take too long.
Thank you much for any suggestions.
Jane
